Adults and children 12 years and older

5 pellets 3 times per day.

Children 6 to under 12 years

3 pellets 3 times per day.

Children under 6 years

1 pellet 3 times per day, dissolved in a little water.

Take 15 minutes before meals.

1. Turn the tube upside down and rotate the cap to release pellets into the cap.
2. Unscrew the cap and, without touching the pellets, tip them into the mouth and place them under the tongue.
3. Allow the pellets to dissolve completely.

Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) inhibits the adherence of bacteria to the lining of the urinary bladder and urethra, thereby reducing the occurrence of urinary tract infections. At higher doses it also acts as a urinary antiseptic and may reduce the incidence of urinary stone formation.

Cranberry is generally well tolerated at recommended doses. Occasional side effects may include:

• Stomach or abdominal upset
• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Headache
• At high doses, kidney stone formation has been reported in susceptible individuals.

Cranberry should be avoided in patients with a history of kidney stones (uric acid or calcium oxalate stones) or renal insufficiency.

Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 5 days or worsen.

Patients with a history of kidney stones or reduced kidney function should use cranberry with caution and under medical supervision.

Patients taking warfarin or other blood-thinning medicines should seek medical advice before use due to a potential mild interaction.

If pregnant or breast-feeding, consult a health professional before use.

Use only 1 pellet 3 times per day, dissolved in a little water. Consult a health professional before giving this product to young children.

Use with caution. Patients with kidney stones or renal insufficiency should seek medical advice before use.

Large doses of cranberry may cause stomach upset and diarrhea. In the event of overdose, discontinue use immediately. If symptoms are severe or persistent, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Cranberry has no known severe, serious, or moderate interactions with other drugs. A mild interaction with warfarin has been noted; patients taking warfarin should consult their doctor before use. Cranberry may enhance the absorption of vitamin B12, which may be relevant for patients taking omeprazole or other acid-reducing medicines.
